FDA Communications Manager Marc Willis to speak at Public Relations Professional Training Series
HAMPTON, Va. (July 9, 2015) – Solomon Public Relations LLC. has announced Marc Willis as keynote speaker for the Solomon Public Relations (SPR) Masterclass, a professional public relations training series on Friday, July 10, 2015.
Willis is the Communications Manager for the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Willis is responsible for overseeing the media relations efforts for the Office of Regulatory Affairs and its 20 districts. He also serves as a Deputy Lead for the NABJ PR Student Projects and is a mentor for the NABJ North Carolina A&T State University Short Course. In addition to these teaching positions Willis is an adjunct professor for Northern Virginia Community College.
Willis will appear live during the SPR Master Class webinar to discuss how to break into the field of public affairs and how to maintain a successful public relations career. He will discuss his early beginnings as a broadcast journalist and why he made the switch to public affairs. Willis will also be critiquing trainee professional portfolios.
